Job summary

Horrocks invites an experienced Design-Build Drainage Lead to join our Innovative Pursuits Team in Spokane, WA. You will lead drainage discipline engineering for transportation projects, coordinate with discipline leads, and drive delivery of DB/PDB pursuits and projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of drainage design leadership for infrastructure, a PE license, and a proven ability to lead teams, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and staff across the Rocky Mountain

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading drainage design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Strong team leadership and client relationship skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage discipline engineering teams for transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Integral member of the project delivery team.
• Lead drainage/hydraulic design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks.
• Knowledge and experience with Microstation, OpenRoads, and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Ability and commitment to be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management.
• Proven history of meeting project deadlines.
• A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goals
