Job summary

Horrocks, a leading Design-Build transportation firm, seeks a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager in Seattle, WA. You will lead roadway discipline teams for DB/PDB pursuits and projects, coordinating with discipline leads and serving as integral member of the PM and delivery team.

Requirements include a PE license, 10+ years in transportation infrastructure design, 5+ years leading roadway design, 3+ years of DOT DB/PDB experience, and proven client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Must have PE license (preferred states UT, NV, AZ, ID, CO, NM, WA).
• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design.
• 5+ years leading roadway design for infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience.
• Collaborative team leadership and strong client relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for DB/PDB pursuits and projects.
• Coordinate with other discipline leads.
• Be an integral member of the project management and delivery team.
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specs, and quantities.
• Proficient with Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients.
• Be available for local and Rocky Mountain Region projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
• Grow professionally with each project, supporting client goals.
