Job summary

Horrocks in Dallas, TX seeks a Design-Build Roadway Lead/Manager to drive transportation design initiatives and manage multidisciplina ry teams. You’ll lead freeway, interstate, and urban/highway projects, coordinating with discipline leads and clients from our Innovative Pursuits Team.

Experience as a registered PE and 10+ years in transportation design are preferred. The role requires strong leadership, client relations, and a commitment to delivering on deadlines within the Rocky Mountain

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in transportation infrastructure design
• 5+ years of leading roadway design for infrastructure projects
• 3+ years of DOT DB or PDB experience
• Must be able to work effectively as a team leader in a group environment and maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Outstanding client and personnel skills and the ability to persuasively communicate at all levels
• Organized and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway discipline engineering teams for Transportation DB and/or PDB pursuits and projects
• Coordinate with other discipline leads
• Integral member of the project management and delivery team
• Lead roadway design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks
• Work with Microstation OpenRoads and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Maintain positive relationships with team members and clients
• Be assigned to local and Rocky Mountain Region wide projects
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff and management
• Meet project deadlines
• Grow personally and professionally with each project
