Job summary

Vanasse Hangen Brustlin Inc. (VHB) is seeking Project Managers/Senior Project Managers to deliver complex transportation infrastructure across Massachusetts, including highways, bridges, rail, and airports.

You will lead major pursuits, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee design through construction, mentor staff, and partner with public agencies to shape VHB's transportation practice and growth. This is a regular full-time role with opportunities for professional advancement and

Qualifications

• 8+ years of civil or structural engineering experience.
• Massachusetts PE licensure required; other state licensure a plus.
• Experience managing design-build or traditional transportation projects.
• Experience with MassDOT/MBTA-like agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead major pursuits and deliver complex transportation projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, and construction.
• Deliver projects from proposal through design and construction support.
• Provide leadership for scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Mentor staff in engineering designs and bid documents.
• Liaise with clients, subconsultants, and contractors in meetings.
• Support construction coordination and issue resolution.
• Support client coordination and business development.
• Contribute to team growth and promote standards.
