Qualifications

11+ years' experience in structural engineering and bridge design
PE license required
Experience completing transportation studies, design reports, and final design documents
Lead role in planning, analysis, design, and detailing for major bridges/transportation projects
Mentor and lead technical staff to ensure quality and schedule compliance
Strong familiarity with MassDOT or equivalent DOT design standards

Responsibilities

Manage structural planning, analysis, and design for bridge/transportation projects
Prepare proposals, contracts, and project approach decisions
Maintain client relationships and contribute to business development
Direct and mentor team members on design plans, calculations, load ratings, and reports
Oversee project management and scheduling to meet scope and budgets
Review plans and specifications to ensure quality and conformance
