Databricks is seeking a Sr. Deployment Strategist for the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team.

You will act as the product manager for strategic, multi‑million dollar engagements, owning discovery, MVP definition, PRD creation, and production launch with a hands‑on delivery mindset. You’ll lead technical discovery, shape architecture with FDEs, and ensure seamless production deployment, scale adoption, and ongoing value realization for top customers.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with senior stakeholders and strong communication.
• Ability to define what to build and why, and write clear product requirements.
• Fluency in modern data/AI architectures, cloud platforms, data pipelines, APIs.
• Hands-on technical ability in at least one language (Python/Java/SQL) and prototyping.
• 7+ years delivering data/AI/software engagements in high-growth settings.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between customer business problems and Databricks solutions; own the engagement from discovery to production.
• Write the PRD and guide engineering backlog; ensure data, security, and ops requirements are met.
• Lead agile delivery with cross-functional teams; supervise architecture and technical risk.
• Own Day 0 launch, production readiness, and post-launch adoption; drive optimization based on feedback.
• Capture field learnings to inform product and engineering improvements.
