Job summary

Metropolis Technologies seeks a Senior Deployment Project Manager to lead technical design and project management for non-parking launches in our Recognition portfolio. You will oversee deployments from planning through go-live, building scalable processes and mitigating risks while guiding complex architectures.

You will manage third-party scopes, coordinate with customers, and ensure high-quality outcomes with a structured handoff of deployed environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical project management.
• Experience with large-scale field deployments.
• Experience with distributed hardware.
• Familiarity with enterprise IP video cameras (Axis, Avigilon, Genetec).
• Strong risk, budgeting and communication skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable designs.
• Comfort with AI tooling.
• Experience in a high-growth tech company.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, resource requirements, scheduling, and risk registers for each recognition deployment.
• Serve as the technical anchor for the project lifecycle, defining system specifications and ensuring architectural integrity from kickoff through go-live.
• Define clear scopes of work for third‑party integrators, manage timelines and budgets, and conduct site audits to enforce quality standards.
• Act as the primary point of accountability and contact for customers, managing expectations and providing clear context for technical decisions.
• Collaborate with the Support organization to coordinate technical execution and ensure a structured handoff of fully deployed environments.
• Proactively identify problematic trends in current deployment processes and propose new solutions to reduce administrative overhead for technical teams.
• Set quality gating criteria for project milestones and ensure system functionality matches the agreed‑upon project scope.
