Job summary

Metropolis Technologies in Los Angeles seeks a Senior Deployment Project Manager to lead non-parking deployments in the Recognition portfolio. You will manage high-stakes deployments from planning through go-live, developing scalable processes and architectures to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex infrastructure or security-related deployments.
• Experience with large-scale field deployments and distributed hardware.
• Familiarity with enterprise IP video cameras and systems (Axis, Avigilon, Genetec).
• Advanced risk mitigation, stakeholder management, budgeting, and communication.
• Ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable deployment designs.
• Comfort with AI tooling and high-growth tech environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, resources, scheduling, and risk registers.
• Act as technical anchor for project lifecycle from kickoff to go-live.
• Define scopes for third-party integrators and enforce quality standards via site audits.
• Be primary point of accountability for customers and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with Support to ensure structured handoff of deployed environments.
• Identify deployment process issues and propose solutions to reduce admin overhead.
• Set quality gating criteria for milestones and ensure system matches scope.
