The HealthCare Connection, Inc. seeks an Associate Chief Dental Officer to lead the dental program while maintaining an active clinical practice.

Reporting to the Chief Dental Officer, this senior role oversees the Dental Practice Manager and supports quality, operations, financial sustainability, and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and growth of dental services to improve access and patient experience across THCC

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Current unrestricted Ohio dental license.
• Active DEA registration.
• Six years of progressive dentistry experience.
• Four years of leadership/administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care while maintaining an active clinical practice ~60% of time.
• Lead and develop dentists, dental hygienists, and the Dental Practice Manager.
• Oversee clinical quality, patient safety, infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and policies.
• Oversee performance of dental services including access, provider productivity, staffing, operations, and patient experience.
• Collaborate on departmental budgets, financial performance, resource allocation, and improvements.
• Support growth of the dental program and expand services to improve access and patient care.
• Represent dental leadership in organizational initiatives when Chief Dental Officer is absent.
