Job summary

Community Health Connections seeks a Dentist to provide direct patient care within a busy outpatient dental program. Lead clinical operations, ensure compliance with OSHA, DPH, and dental regulations, and supervise dentists, hygienists, and residents.

The role requires a DDS/DMD from an accredited school, U.S. licensure in good standing, and experience in regulatory workflows, Medicaid/manged care familiarity, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a U.S.-based dental practice or community health setting preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with U.S. dental regulations, documentation standards, and patient care workflows required.
• Experience with Medicaid (MassHealth) and managed care environments preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols required.
• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical leadership ensuring adherence to U.S. dental regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance program.
• Oversees clinical operations in alignment with state and federal regulatory requirements and community health center best practices.
• Supports providers in developing proficiency with U.S.-based clinical workflows, documentation, and compliance standards.
• Directs and coordinates the patient care activities.
• Completes staff reviews.
• Attends required meetings.
• Works closely with Director of Dental Operations.
• Responsible for training and orientation of all Dentists and Hygienists.
• Maintains quality, safety, and infection control standards.
