Job summary

Wella North America is seeking a Sr. Manager, Demand Planning in Calabasas, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) to lead the monthly S&OP process, translate market trends into forecast, and drive improvements across planning capabilities for a multi-brand portfolio.

The role requires strong analytics, collaboration with commercial and supply chain leaders, and experience guiding cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include partnering with Sales, Finance, and Supply Planning to build forecasts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in demand or supply planning within a complex, global, multi-channel organization.
• Experience leading a planning team of 4+ professionals.
• Intermediate working knowledge of SAP, Blue Yonder, or an equivalent forecasting/planning tool.
• Experience leading the S&OP process, including demand review and senior leadership alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly S&OP demand planning process for North American divisions and present plans to senior leadership.
• Influence partners across a matrixed organization with data-driven storytelling.
• Serve as the demand planning lead for a complex North American portfolio.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning to build forecasts and identify risks.
• Drive demand planning for new product launches and validate forecast inputs.
• Anticipate supply/demand imbalances and develop mitigation plans.
• Analyze forecast performance and trends to improve accuracy and service levels.
• Champion advanced analytics and AI-enabled forecasting solutions.
• Lead capability building within Demand Planning and drive process improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and tools.
