Job summary

Wella Company in Calabasas, CA, seeks a Manager, Demand Planning to lead U.S./Canada PRO demand planning. You will translate market trends into actionable forecasts, partner with Sales and Finance, and drive inventory optimization.

You will manage SAP/Blue Yonder/MRP tools, develop a high-performing team, and guide cross-functional stakeholders on executable plans to support product launches and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering.
• Four years of experience in supply chain and demand planning in beauty or FMCG.
• Two years of specialized experience in demand planning and S&OP in beauty/FMCG.
• Experience using SAP, Blue Yonder, or an equivalent forecasting/planning tool.
• Building and maintaining demand forecasts for 800+ SKUs using statistical models.
• Active role in the S&OP process with senior management approval.

Responsibilities

• Leads the monthly S&OP demand planning process for the U.S. and Canada PRO business, delivering an unbiased forecast.
• Translates models, insights, and market dynamics into actionable demand plans.
• Partners with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to build forecasts and validate assumptions.
• Analyzes forecast performance to improve accuracy, inventory, and service levels.
• Drives demand planning for new product launches with cross-functional alignment.
• Manages SAP, Blue Yonder, and MRP-related planning tools for forecast integrity.
• Anticipates supply/demand imbalances and develops mitigation plans.
• Uses Excel and AI-enabled tools to improve planning and reporting.
• Coaches a team of Demand Planners to strengthen capabilities and KPIs.
• Builds cross-functional relationships and advises on demand insights.
