Job summary

Vast is seeking a Senior Manager, Demand Planning in Long Beach to lead and scale the Demand Planning organization. You will own the strategy, processes, and systems translating program needs into executable demand signals across procurement, inventory, and manufacturing.

Ideal candidates have deep MRP and planning expertise, strong leadership, and a proven ability to drive alignment with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Program leadership in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years in demand planning, material planning, or similar.
• 3+ years leading teams in a complex hardware/manufacturing environment.
• Experience building or maturing a planning function across programs.
• Deep MRP, BOM, inventory readiness and material risk experience.
• Ability to set governance, KPIs, and cross‑program planning rhythms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Demand Planning organization with clear priorities.
• Own the end-to-end demand planning framework across programs.
• Drive material readiness, shortage management, and planning accuracy.
• Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Program leadership.
