Job summary

Demand Planning Lead — People Manager Track is opening a founding role in Arizona with Kerry Search Partners. This position blends hands-on spare-parts demand planning with strategic leadership, collaborating across Supply Planning, Product Support, Engineering, and Purchasing, and aligning with teams in California and Michigan.

You will present demand insights to senior leaders monthly and grow into people leadership within 3–6 months, building a small distributed team and shaping local culture

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coordinating others (formal reports not required).
• Advanced Excel with SQL/Python/BI familiarity considered a strong plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

A global leader in semiconductor manufacturing technology is building out a brand-new team presence in Arizona and looking for a Demand Planning Lead to be the founding member of that site. This is a high-visibility opportunity to shape team culture locally while working closely with established teams in California and Michigan.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end spares demand planning for assigned product lines — balancing installed base trends, failure behavior, and business priorities
• Translate business objectives into demand plans that drive inventory, replenishment, and repair strategy
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Planning, Product Support, Engineering, and internal Purchasing to resolve demand-supply gaps
• Support a growing international customer base, including regular coordination with teams in Singapore
• Present demand insights and risk to senior leadership on a monthly cadence
• Grow into people leadership within 3–6 months, managing a small distributed team

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5+ years in demand planning, supply chain planning, or a related analytical role
• Experience — formal or informal — leading, mentoring, or coordinating others (direct reports not required, but some leadership signal is)
• Comfort with ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel skills required; working familiarity with SQL, Python, and BI/dashboard tools (e.g., PowerBI) a strong plus
• Strong written and verbal communication, including executive-level presentations

Nice to have

• Experience in aftermarket, after-sales, or semiconductor equipment environments
• Background in production planning, BOM management, or excess inventory strategy
