Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Demand Planning Professional for Mission Systems. The hybrid role will support rolling demand plans, SIOP activities, and cross-functional alignment across affected functions. Based in Cedar Rapids, Rockford, or Colorado Springs with up to 20% travel.

The role emphasizes data-driven forecasting, collaboration with BD, PM, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain, and ensuring on-time delivery within capacity and inventory constraints.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.
• Experience with Kinaxis and SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an 18+ month unconstrained demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO / Spares.
• Lead Demand Reviews and drive cross-functional alignment on the consensus demand plan.
• Translate customer demand into master schedule requirements for Operations.
• Support SIOP activities including financial reconciliation and executive reviews.
• Analyze demand, orders, inventory, market trends and forecast variances.
• Develop build-to-stock recommendations and inventory targets.
• Monitor metrics such as forecast accuracy, inventory performance, OTD, and variances.
• Ensure demand data integrity and compliance with contracts.
• Partner across functions to resolve constraints and support business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods and planning tools.
