Job summary

Whippany Actuation Systems LLC seeks a data-driven Demand Planner to collaborate with purchasing, production, and sales to meet on-time delivery demands. You will analyze, schedule, expedite and monitor materials required for production and special projects.

You will participate in capacity reviews, develop production plans, and maintain a master production schedule while driving KPI improvements and cross-functional coordination. This role requires US work authorization and travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field.
• 5 years’ experience as a material planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading a Sales & Operations Planning process.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, drive the improvement agenda.
• Develop monthly Production Plan based on Demand input and Capacity situation.
• Establish and maintain a weekly master production schedule to support Production Plan.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure feasible, aligned operational plans.
• Help define and maintain S&OP KPIs and metrics to support continuous improvement.
• Distribute work orders and assist department personnel in obtaining items necessary to complete operations.
• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to support business initiatives and communicate supply chain issues.
• Review and maintain master data for legacy and new products for proper planning.
• Communicate shortages and make recommendations.
• Manage running action and issues list, drive issues to closure.
