Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Demand Planning Professional to support our Mission Systems business. You will develop and maintain demand plans translating customer requirements into actionable production and supply plans, collaborating with finance, operations, and program teams to balance capacity and inventory.

This hybrid role can be based out of Cedar Rapids, Rockford, or Colorado Springs. The role involves up to 20% travel, strong skills in Kinaxis and SAP, and proven experience in demand

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting.
• Travel as business needs dictate- could be up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain rolling 18+ month minimum unconstrained demand plan for OE, Aftermarket, and MRO / Spares using inputs of historical data, customer and business intelligence.
• Lead Demand Reviews and drive cross-functional alignment on the consensus demand plan.
• Translate customer demand into requirements that support the master schedule and Operations.
• Support SIOP activities, including financial reconciliation, supply reviews, and executive reviews.
• Analyze demand, orders, inventory, market trends, and forecast variances to identify risks and opportunities.
• Develop build-to-stock recommendations, burn-down plans, sales forecasts, and inventory targets.
• Monitor and communicate key metrics including forecast accuracy, inventory performance, OTD, and demand variance.
• Ensure demand data integrity and compliance with customer contractual requirements.
• Partner across functions to resolve constraints and make decisions that best support customer and business needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methods, planning processes, and tools.
