Job summary

Sysco Western Minnesota, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Delivery Operations Lead to direct the activities of delivery staff, optimize routes, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes managing budgets, achieving KPIs, coordinating with Sales/Marketing, and improving efficiency across labor, fuel, and assets. A Bachelor's degree and a background in distribution logistics are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL-A) required.
• HazMat and Doubles Certification required.
• Complete Sysco approved defensive driving program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work and safety of Delivery supervisors, routing personnel and other associates.
• Ensure management staff oversee day-to-day delivery activities and SOP adherence.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with DOT, OSHA and related logs.
• Direct labor hours, travel, fuel and supplies within budget to maximize efficiency.
• Prepare work schedules and budgets including capital requests as needed.
• Monitor KPI and customer satisfaction goals and drive improvements.
• Coordinate repairs and asset utilization to support the Delivery department.
