Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Senior Delivery & Engagement Manager to be the cornerstone of client relationships and the owner of delivery excellence. You will lead end-to-end programs across IBM i, IBM Z, cloud migration, and AI integration, coordinating onshore and offshore teams to ensure profitability and satisfaction.

This remote-first role in Atlanta, GA offers high-impact leadership, strategic growth opportunities, and a focus on outcomes for enterprise clients.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Delivery/Engagement Management or similar client-facing leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of accounts and multiple client assignments.
• Demonstrated expertise delivering projects across legacy systems (IBM i/IBM Z) and modern stacks (cloud + apps).
• Strong financial acumen with direct P&L management for multi-million-dollar engagements.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management with executive-level clients.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for complex engagements across multiple workstreams (Managed Services, Fixed-Bid projects).
• Lead strategic client engagements and governance, including SteerCo and performance reporting.
• Manage risks, issues, budgets, and change requests to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
• Oversee cross-functional teams across onshore/nearshore/offshore delivery partners.
• Champion AI-enabled delivery and new service offerings within accounts.
