Job summary

MBP is seeking a Senior Consultant - Construction Delay Claims in Tampa to support disputes and investigations with technical analysis of delay and disruption claims. You will contribute to expert reports, manage discovery, and coordinate with team and clients on strategy.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in construction, with scheduling and CPM knowledge, and the ability to mentor junior staff while handling budgets and schedules in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant experience which equates to this degree.
• Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other relevant academic field is a plus.
• Working towards P.E. license, Certified Construction Manager, Planning and Scheduling Profession, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis & discovery support: manage large portions of technical analyses and coordinate with the expert and client.
• Project and people management: supervise junior consultants, manage workflows and budgets, and report progress to management.
• Client engagement: act as point of contact for clients and counsel, provide status updates, participate in meetings.
• Expert reporting & exhibits: assist with reports, rebuttals, and visual exhibits for arbitration or trial.
• Business development support: contribute to proposals and industry presentations; attend networking events.
