Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer to lead the transition of advanced defense hardware from prototype to full production. You will drive integration, test, and qualification of subsystems, and help establish scalable manufacturing and test processes.

You will mentor engineers and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver production-ready builds in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense or high-reliability manufacturing environments.
• History of taking hardware from R&D/prototype to production.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
• Cross-disciplinary collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and avionics domains.

Responsibilities

• Own assembly, integration, and test processes for hypersonic vehicle assemblies.
• Lead transition from prototype to production and establish manufacturability and test requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing, assembly, and test instructions and procedures.
• Design and build tooling, fixtures, and test stands as needed.
• Lead hands-on build and test operations and drive root-cause investigations.
• Plan capital equipment and facility upgrades to scale production.
