Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison with government customers, driving the end-to-end integration of advanced weapons systems and overseeing programs from concept through deployment.

You will collaborate with propulsion, avionics, GNC, software, flight test and manufacturing teams, ensuring mission success, compliance, and robust verification across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering, physics or related field.
• 2+ years in systems engineering, mission integration, or related defense roles.
• 2+ years in technical project management or weapons system development.
• Experience with DoD or national security agencies is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical liaison with government customers, aligning mission requirements with Castelion designs.
• Lead program lifecycle from concept development through prototype, testing and deployment.
• Coordinate across propulsion, avionics, GNC, software, flight test and manufacturing.
• Develop and execute prototype development strategies for timely delivery of weapons solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize system performance through design trades.
• Represent Castelion at customer meetings, design reviews and test campaigns.
• Ensure contract deliverables meet time and spec requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in verification and test planning for mission success.
• Support live-fire and flight test operations, including pre-test analysis and post-test evaluation.
• Maintain understanding of government acquisition processes, certifications and compliance.
