Job summary

Castelion is seeking a Senior Integration & Test Engineer to lead the transition of advanced defense hardware from prototype into full production. You will drive integration, test, and qualification of mechanical and electrical subsystems, establishing scalable manufacturing and test processes for repeatable, production-ready builds.

You will partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams, guiding hardware from concept through qualification and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace/defense manufacturing, esp. integration, test, or production.
• Proven history from R&D/prototype to production.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred).
• Broad exposure to mechanical, electrical/avionics, and propulsion or fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Own assembly, integration, and test for hypersonic vehicle hardware.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design for manufacturability and testability.
• Develop and document manufacturing and test procedures and work instructions.
• Plan tooling, fixtures, and test stands; support production readiness.
• Lead hands-on build/test operations and go/no-go decisions.
• Troubleshoot failures and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Drive process improvements and scale for higher throughput.
• Collaborate with supply chain, vendors, and fabricators.
