Job summary

Anduril Industries in Washington, DC is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to manage Architecture & Requirements for next generation air and missile defense systems. You will ensure traceability through test and evaluations for fire‑control certification, working with major stakeholders and across programs.

The role emphasizes MBSE, SysML/DoDAF, and model-based artifacts, with close collaboration to deliver robust requirements and architecture products.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret security clearance is required and must be maintained.
• Bachelor-level degree in aerospace/ mechanical/ applied physics/ computer science or related field, or 10+ years in air & missile defense.
• 12+ years Systems Engineering experience across the lifecycle. More is better.
• Experience with missile defense, space domains, and test/evaluation methods.
• Strong understanding of fire-control systems, safety and hazard mitigation.
• Familiarity with SysML/DoDAF/UAFP and MBSE artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Interface with internal programs and external customers.
• Develop a robust requirements and architecture management plan.
• Create artifacts from stakeholder needs; ensure they are complete and accurate.
• Demonstrate systems engineering capabilities and traceability across programs.
• Lead requirements and architecture products with full traceability and controlled configuration.
• Contribute to Digital Engineering strategy and implementation.
• Understand transformation value of Anduril platforms and MBSE artifacts.
