Job summary

Anduril Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer, Strategic Defense in Washington, DC. You will manage architecture and requirements for next‑gen air and missile defense systems, ensuring traceability through tests and evaluations for fire-control certification.

This senior role requires 12+ years of systems engineering across the lifecycle, expertise in model-based systems engineering, and strong communication to engage stakeholders and drive robust artifacts.

Qualifications

Active U.S. security clearance is required or current eligibility for clearance.
15+ years experience in Systems Engineering across the life cycle (air and missile defense preferred).
Experience with DoD weapon systems, space systems, or related programs.

Responsibilities

Define and manage architecture and requirements for air and missile defense systems.
Ensure traceability of requirements and architecture through test and evaluations for fire-control certifications.
Develop MBSE artifacts and demonstrate them in stakeholder meetings.
Lead in creating models and artifacts with SysML, DoDAF, and related standards.
Collaborate with internal programs and external customers to satisfy stakeholder needs.
