Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior System Architect to define and document architectures for complex hardware/software systems, ensuring traceability from requirements to tests and alignment with program goals.

You will lead system-level design reviews, own the technical baseline, and collaborate with a fast-paced team using next-generation agentic modeling tools.

A current U.S. Secret clearance is required; expertise across hardware, software and firmware is essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience documenting and developing system requirements for new product design.
• Lead system architect for complex hardware and software systems.
• Experience creating architectures and artifacts for hardware, software, and firmware.
• Hands-on with Cameo Systems Modeler; familiar with SysML v1.x/v2.0; open to new tools.
• Proven ability to optimize engineering workflows, including automated traceability and CI-driven verification.
• Ability to decompose complex systems into executable requirements to meet government expectations.
• Strong technical communication skills for briefings to leadership and customers.
• Ability to influence across hardware, software, firmware disciplines.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and document system architectures for complex hardware/software systems, including functional decomposition, interface definition, and allocation of requirements.
• Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, designs, and tests to ensure the final product meets the specified requirements.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced hardware and software design and development team.
• Build, develop and integrate system models; incorporate inputs from stakeholder requirements and related design documents.
• Own the system model as the authoritative source of design intent using agentic modeling tools.
• Lead system-level design reviews and own the technical baseline coming out of them.
