Job summary

RH Aero Systems, based in Mason, Ohio, seeks a Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end performance for military programs. You will guide a mixed team across strategic and operational sourcing, and fulfillment, aligning priorities with global supply chain strategy.

Expect ownership of delivery, cost, and regulatory compliance within a matrix organization. You will drive Lean problem solving, develop people, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and contracts to protect export-controlled data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 8+ years across order fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, planning, or project management.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams with strategic and operational responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain performance for the assigned product value stream.
• Provide functional and people leadership to Strategic Sourcing Specialists, Sourcing Specialists, and Order Fulfillment Leaders.
• Shift team from transaction-driven purchasing to stronger supply chain ownership and value-stream alignment.
• Lead delivery performance via prioritization, risk identification, escalation, and corrective actions.
• Drive root-cause problem solving using lean methods (PDCA, 5-Why, A3).
• Manage capacity and protect resources for stabilization, improvement, and strategic work.
• Drive material productivity and commercial performance within the value stream.
• Utilize forecasting, turnover tracking, and KPI reporting to improve performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Delivery Leaders to close gaps and ensure end-to-end execution.
• Support day-to-day operations during workload peaks and capacity constraints.
• Identify efficiency and automation opportunities and translate into global supply chain initiatives.
• Own supply chain execution for military and defense programs, including ITAR/EAR/FAR/DFARS compliance.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Trade Compliance, Engineering, Quality, and Security to protect export-controlled data and records.
• Ensure supplier quality standards (AS9100, AS9102, configuration control, traceability, calibration, counterfeit prevention).
• Manage military data packages, controlled drawings, and engineering changes to latest configurations.
• Route nonconformances through required approvals before disposition.
• Assess and mitigate defense supply chain risks (sole-source, long-lead, obsolescence, sub-tier visibility, cybersecurity).
• Lead supplier recovery plans with milestones and escalation as needed.
• Comply with DPAS, domestic sourcing, and government record retention requirements when applicable.
• Contribute to cross-functional and strategic initiatives as required.
