Job summary

RH Aero Systems, based in Mason, Ohio, is seeking a Sourcing Specialist, Supply Chain. You will manage RFQs, place POs, track supplier performance, and coordinate with Engineering and OEM stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of source-controlled tools and parts.

You will work with SAP/Epicor in a manufacturing setting, owning supplier outcomes, and collaborating with Fulfillment, Quality, and Logistics to resolve issues and maintain accurate status updates for customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Strong RFQ, PO management and supplier follow-up with end-to-end order fulfillment.
• Proven supplier performance management ensuring on-time delivery and quality.
• Ability to own outcomes with strong customer focus and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on RFQs and initiate regional RFQs as needed to support sourcing.
• Place purchase orders and manage confirmations to align with delivery dates.
• Manage source-controlled tools via approved suppliers per drawings/specs.
• Track lead times, delivery commitments, and order status for timely fulfillment.
• Coordinate with Engineering/OEM to identify alternate suppliers when needed.
• Monitor supplier orders through delivery, including expediting and escalation.
• Own supplier performance and escalate issues to appropriate teams.
• Coordinate recovery actions for delays or constraints affecting business needs.
• Maintain accurate supplier, order, and production status for internal updates.
• Collaborate with Fulfillment, Quality, Logistics to resolve issues and improve forecast accuracy.
• Negotiate pricing with stakeholders and manage supplier claims and penalties.
