Job summary

Rocketdyne in Mason, OH seeks a Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead end-to-end performance for the Space Electronics unit. You will own material planning, procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier management to ensure on-time delivery of high-reliability space and defense products.

You will partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to mitigate risk, improve inventory, and scale processes in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive supply chain experience in aerospace, defense, electronics, or regulated manufacturing.
• Proven leadership across planning, procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and material execution.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing challenges, including long-lead components and obsolescence.
• Track record of improving on-time delivery, supplier performance, and cost through disciplined execution.
• Experience leading cross-functional problem solving in support of production and program commitments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supply chain strategy for the space electronics unit.
• Collaborate with Rocketdyne’s supply chain organization to optimize processes.
• Lead planning, procurement, sourcing, inventory control, and supplier management.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with clear accountability.
• Drive material availability and on-time delivery for complex assemblies and long-lead items.
• Partner with PM, Operations, Engineering, and Quality to align with schedules and milestones.
• Establish sourcing strategies for critical components to ensure continuity of supply.
• Track performance metrics and report updates to senior leadership.
• Lead mitigation plans for shortages, sole-source dependencies, and obsolescence risks.
• Support make-vs-buy decisions and production ramp readiness.
