Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation in Irvine, CA seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee complex defense programs from inception to completion. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, contracts, and manufacturing, ensuring on-time delivery, regulatory compliance, and strong customer communication.

Required are a Bachelor's in engineering, DoD contract experience, and the ability to manage budgets, risks, and schedules. A PMP or related certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience managing DoD contracts and major prime contracts preferred.
• Proposal preparation and FAR knowledge desirable.
• Project management and status reporting experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple interdependent programs from inception to completion.
• Coordinate proposal preparation, negotiations, start-up, and program planning.
• Lead cross-functional teams including Engineering, Contracts, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Provide data-driven status updates to leadership and customers.
• Support RFP responses and pricing strategies to secure profitable work.
• Maintain rigorous program documentation and compliance with PM processes.
