Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
• 0–3 years designing mechanical components/subsystems; ASME Y14.5M experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; able to present to peers/customers.
• Ability to interact effectively with engineers, other departments, customers and management.
• Work independently and as part of a team under deadlines; resources may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical design assignments and review drawings.
• Design mechanical equipment, systems and processes.
• Perform calculations/analyses to validate designs.
• Support assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of environmental control systems.
• Present designs to engineers and customers; write reports as needed.
