Requires BS/BA in Engineering or related field, PMP certification, and 10+ years in program management; aerospace experience is preferred. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Sciences, Business or related field.
• PMP certification required, typically within 6 months of assignment; advanced degrees and other certifications preferred.
• Ten or more years of related work experience; leadership of multiple projects/programs.
• Aerospace contracting and procurement knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates program charter, baseline plan and other management components.
• Maintains integrated schedules, tracks financial and quality performance, and implements corrective actions.
• Leads development of program plans for mature and new product development.
• Acts as primary customer contact and negotiates contract changes.
• Organizes programs by identifying required expertise and mentoring team members.
• Ensures strong customer relationships and presents program status at reviews.
