Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in the United States and abroad.

The role involves developing and reviewing logistics data, coordinating with government staff, and leading portions of meetings to support mission-critical projects. The candidate will analyze workloads, track metrics, and provide briefings on project schedules and performance, while maintaining liaison with customers, contracting officials, and program staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5 years in Army logistics/acquisition activities.
• High School Diploma with 10 years in Army logistics/acquisition activities.
• Experience with pre-award procurement activities and requirements analysis.
• Ability to report to work onsite 5 days a week.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets and conduct reviews for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide status reports to Government on requirements, current and emerging.
• Offer technical assistance and briefings to customers and Government staff on requirements packets and project schedules.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals for project planning and performance.
• Monitor theater logistics priorities and participate in daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics requirements and maintain liaison with stakeholders.
• Analyze workload and projections for upcoming quarters and adjust as needed.
• Prepare monitoring reports and information papers on project schedules and performance.
• Suggest revisions to operations requirements and PWS based on new missions or policy changes.
• Conduct research and analysis of emerging missions, policies, regulations, and directives.
