Job summary

Serco Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on combined CONUS/OCONUS assignments. You will develop technical data packages, provide briefings, and monitor contractor performance against schedules and cost targets.

The role requires an active DoD Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and related experience in logistics planning and pre-award activities. Travel up to 10% and onsite availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in Army logistics and acquisition activities or High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience.
• Concurrent 5 years of experience with pre-award procurement activities such as analyzing requirements, revising PW statements, and tracking procurement activities.
• Ability to report onsite 5 days a week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and visit remote locations for site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirement packets and assess completeness and accuracy.
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief and requiring activity.
• Deliver status reports to Government on requirements and performance metrics.
• Offer technical assistance and briefings to customers on requirement generation and validation processes.
• Review contractor estimates and proposals on service contract task orders.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through daily operations and meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, and program staff.
• Analyze workload and project quarterly staffing needs and projections.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on schedules and plans.
• Provide recommendations on evolving operations requirements and PWS revisions.
