Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) in a high-profile, challenging role. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 5+ years of U.S. Army logistics planning or 10 years with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities, or High School Diploma with 10 years of similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.).
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief or requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and information to customers and Government staff on requirements packet generation and reviews.
• Review contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change proposals.
• Monitor theater logistical priorities through attendance at daily operations and staff meetings.
• Lead portions of meetings in support of logistics to requiring activity when needed.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, performance contractors, contracting officials and program staff.
• Perform in-depth analysis of contractor’s monthly workload and projections for future quarters.
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on project schedules and changes.
• Provide recommendations to operational requirements and PWS revisions.
• Research and analyze emerging missions, policies, and regulations.
