Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support the US Army ASC through the GLASS team in multiple locations, including CONUS/OCONUS deployments.

The role focuses on developing and maintaining LOGCAP requirement packets, conducting technical reviews, and coordinating with Government staff. The ideal candidate has an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 5+ years of logistics planning experience (or 10 years with a HS diploma).

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain
• US Citizenship required
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of logistics planning/management experience, or High School Diploma with 10 years of similar experience and related procurements experience
• 5 years of pre-award procurement activities including requirements analysis and revisions to performance work statements
• Proven ability to report to work onsite 5 days a week
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work in CONUS/OCONUS locations

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirement packets and screen for completeness
• Provide recommendations to Branch Chief and requiring activity
• Prepare status reports and updates to Government on requirements and schedules
• Offer technical training and briefings on requirements packet development and reviews
• Perform technical reviews of contractor estimates/proposals for PPRs and change orders
• Monitor theater logistical priorities via daily operations meetings
• Lead portions of meetings supporting logistics for requiring activity
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities, contractors, and program staff
• Analyze contractor workload to project future quarters and requirements
• Prepare monitoring reports, briefings, and information papers on projects
• Recommend changes to operations requirements and PWS revisions
• Research and analyze emerging missions, policies, and directives
