Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) around the globe. The role involves developing and validating requirements packets, analyzing contractor proposals, and reporting on performance metrics while coordinating with government staff.

Onsite work is required five days a week with travel up to 10%. The ideal candidate holds an active DoD Secret clearance or equivalent experience, US citizenship, and a strong background in logistics

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of Army logistics/ acquisition work, or a High School Diploma with 10 years of related experience.
• Concurrent 5 years of pre-award procurement activity experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to report onsite 5 days a week and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain contract requirement packets and validation.
• Provide status reports and updates to Government customers.
• Offer training and information on packet development and reviews.
• Review contractor estimates and proposals on project orders.
• Monitor theater priorities and participate in meetings.
• Possibly lead portions of meetings supporting logistics.
• Maintain liaison with requiring activities and contractors.
• Analyze monthly contractor workload and quarterly projections.
• Prepare monitoring reports and briefings on schedules and metrics.
• Suggest changes to operations requirements and PWS revisions.
