Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Logistics Management Specialist to support the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) on a program spanning CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The role focuses on creating and validating LOGCAP contract requirement packets, providing senior analysis, and liaising with Government staff to ensure timely, compliant deliverables. You will lead data reviews, generate briefings, and monitor project schedules, with travel up to 10% and a requirement for DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• OR a High School Diploma and 10 years of experience planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing U.S. Army logistics and acquisition activities or similar/related experience.
• A concurrent 5 years of experience or similar/related experience with pre-award procurement activities such as:Analyzing and documenting requirements,
• Recommending revisions to performance work statements or specifications,
• Procurement / project planning/management, and
• Tracking and monitoring procurement activities (i.e., master schedules) to ensure compliance with DoD policy, administrative procedures, regulations and statutes.
• The ability to report to work onsite 5 times a week.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• The ability to travel up to 10% of the time and independently travel to remote locations and provide site survey estimates for emerging requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain LOGCAP contract requirements packets (technical data packages, exhibits, diagrams, etc.), screen requirements for completeness and accuracy, and suitability.
• Provide recommendations to the Branch Chief and / or requiring activity.
• Provide status reports and updates to the Government on all requirements, current and emerging.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and information to customers, Government staff, and others on the requirements packet generation, requirement reviews, requirements validation process, performance metrics, and project schedules.
• Perform technical reviews and analysis of contractor estimates/proposals submitted in response to Project Planning Requests (PPRs) and change proposals on service contract task orders.
