Job summary

U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) at Fort Belvoir, VA seeks a Supervisory General Engineer to lead planning, programming, and execution of major infrastructure projects. You will review MILCON/ RM proposals, oversee lease programs, and guide budgetary resources for facility investments.

You will advise on station realignments and ensure optimal use of real property. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with ABET accreditation or equivalent.
• Specialized experience in planning, programming, and execution of repair, upgrade, and MILCON.
• Experience with facility space requirements and real property systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary advisor for management of repair, upgrade, and replacement infrastructure.
• Review and approve MILCON and RM project proposals.
• Oversee Commercial Lease program including POM submissions and lease determinations.
• Advise on Facility Investment Plan submissions for MILCON and RM projects.
• Provide guidance on station closures, realignments, and transfers of function.
• Review organization structure to balance economy, efficiency and skills.
