Job summary

U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) seeks a qualified architect/engineer to direct a professional and technical workforce delivering technical support to INSCOM units and intelligence systems deployed globally.

This DCIPS position is in the Department of the Army and is based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, with telework eligibility. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's in architecture or engineering, with ABET accreditation or equivalent, professional licensure options

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field with 60 semester hours in architecture including 30 in architectural design and 6 semester hours in each: structural technology, materials & methods, environmental control systems.
Combination of Education and Experience showing knowledge of architectural principles and their applications to design and construction of buildings.
For General Engineer/ Civil Engineer/ Environmental Engineer/ Mechanical Engineer/ Electrical Engineer: degree in engineering from a program accredited by ABET or equivalent coursework in engineering science.
Professional registration or licensure - Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE).
Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination or equivalent licensure test.
Foreign education evaluation may be required for foreign credentials.
