Job summary

Singularity Defense in Gardena, CA is seeking a Contracts Manager to own contract formation, negotiation support, risk management, and post‑award administration across domestic and international defense opportunities. The role ensures that contractual commitments, customer flowdowns, IP positions, payment structures, and compliance obligations are understood before the company commits.

You will coordinate with BD, Finance, Security, and Compliance, maintain executed agreements, and escalate

Qualifications

• 7–12 years in defense contracts or related work.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, OTAs, CSOs, and government contracts.
• Experience with hardware, manufacturing, or defense tech contracts.
• Experience working with BD, Finance, Programs, Legal, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Strong commercial judgment for mitigating risk.
• JD or legal background is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, and maintain customer contracts and NDAs.
• Lead review of terms, liability, termination, and payment terms.
• Evaluate flowdowns, data rights, and IP provisions.
• Support BD and Proposal teams during solicitations.
• Coordinate with Pricing, Finance on margin and payments.
• Coordinate with Security on CUI, DD254s, export controls.
• Maintain executed agreements and modifications.
• Support post-award actions: modifications, claims, closeout.
• Establish scalable contract-review and records-management.
• Escalate material risks before commitments.
