Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead the preparation, negotiation, and management of contracts and subcontracts supporting defense simulation and services. The role requires deep knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and related regulations, and the ability to work with Legal, Finance, and Program Management to align contracts with Shield AI’s strategic objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in cradle-to-grave contract administration for government contracts (CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M),

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Contracts Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of defense contracting contract management experience.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, OTAs, ITAR and government procurement.
• Experience negotiating complex terms and managing government contracts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage government contracts and subcontracts.
• Monitor performance, modifications, and key negotiations.
• Serve as primary contact for contractual matters with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Program Management to align transactions.
• Identify regulatory risks and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR.
• Maintain complete contract records and manage subcontractor relationships.
