Job summary

W.S. Darley & Co. seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to grow the Aberdeen Proving Ground portfolio. The ideal candidate is a retired or senior Army Officer or NCO with deep military ops and acquisition knowledge, ready to lead strategy and build trusted gov't-industry relationships.

The role requires on-site engagement with Army acquisition offices and industry partners, traveling up to 40% and coordinating with program offices to win opportunities.

Qualifications

• Military leadership experience at O-5 / E-9 or higher.
• 2–5 years in acquisition or government contracting.
• Deep understanding of US Army operations, capability development, and PM processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand products, communicate value during sales activities.
• Achieve booked order goals.
• Build relationships with senior government decision makers.
• Identify and pursue new contracts to grow revenue.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data in Salesforce.
• Represent Darley at trade shows and meetings.
• Lead outreach to sustain customer pipelines and partnerships.
