Job summary

Continuous Composites is seeking an experienced Aerospace and Defense business developer in the United States. You will shape funding, secure contracts, and drive multi-year programs in a complex, non-transactional sales environment.

You will work with Engineering, Applications, and Finance to move opportunities from concepts to programs of record, leveraging SBIR/STTR, OTAs, and other funding vehicles. Travel ~50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 5+ years in government business development, defense contracting, or related area.
• Record of closing government/defense orders in last 3–5 years.
• Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Fluency with FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR, OTAs, and other fast-path vehicles.
• Understanding of program budgets and appropriations processes.
• Strong proposal and white paper writing experience.
• Willingness to travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape funding lines to pay for CCI technology before solicitations.
• Develop and execute the fastest contracting path for opportunities (SBIR/STTR, OTAs, etc.).
• Build relationships with program offices, labs, end users, and congressional staff.
• Write and lead proposals, pricing strategy, and IP considerations.
• Move opportunities from development to production and program of record.
• Forecast a pipeline and track defense priorities and funding trends.
