Job summary

Continuous Composites, Inc. seeks an experienced Aerospace and Defense Business Developer to shape funding, win government contracts, and accelerate program wins using strategic networks with Air Force, Army, and DoD labs.

You will lead proposals, manage pricing, and build a robust pipeline to move CF3D technology from development to production, often before solicitations exist, while traveling up to 50% to meet decision-makers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, materials science, aerospace, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in government business development or related field.
• Record of closing government or defense orders in the last 3–5 years.
• Long-cycle selling with high-value pursuits from first contact through award.
• Fluency with FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR, OTAs, and other fast-path vehicles.
• Understanding of program budgets and how appropriations reach programs.
• Strong government network across DoD and primes.
• Ability to travel approximately 50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape budget lines, program office funds, and congressional adds that can pay for CCI's technology.
• Choose and execute the fastest path for each opportunity: SBIR/STTR, OTAs, consortia, etc.
• Build relationships with program offices, labs, end users, and congressional staff to get CCI written into prime bids through teaming.
• Move CF3D technology from development and prototype awards to follow-on production and programs of record.
• Own white papers, proposals, and pricing strategy with Engineering and Finance, including IP considerations.
• Build and forecast a qualified pipeline, track defense priorities and funding trends, and close orders.
