Machina Labs seeks a seasoned Business Development Representative to grow our presence with U.S. and international defense prime contractors.

You will cultivate strategic relationships, identify opportunities across missiles, hypersonics, and unmanned systems, and guide programs from feasibility studies to qualification and production awards. You will collaborate with engineering and operations, shaping candidate parts, technical requirements, and timelines while navigating funding paths and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in defense business development or program leadership.
• Strong relationships with U.S. defense primes and international primes.
• Ability to discuss structural assemblies, manufacturing processes, and production economics.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
• Willingness to travel ~25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand defense prime relationships with program managers and leaders.
• Capture proof of concept, qualification, and production opportunities.
• Develop international prime partnerships and pursue cross-border opportunities.
• Maintain CRM records and forecasts for funded qualification work and awards.
