Job summary

Apple Inc. in Waltham, MA seeks an Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Engineer to lead PHY IP development from concept to GDS.

You will collaborate with Platform Architecture, Logic, SIPI, Layout, DV and Timing teams to deliver high-performance PHY designs and tran-sistor-level layouts for upcoming products. The role requires a BS and 10+ years of relevant experience, with strong Verilog and circuit verification tooling.

Qualifications

• BS and 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal PHY circuit design experience.
• Experience with TX/RX blocks, DLLs, PLLs, phase interpolators and related primitives.
• Knowledge of HDL languages (Verilog) to collaborate with logic teams.
• Familiarity with circuit verification tools and pre-silicon flows.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed specifications for analog/mixed-signal IP.
• Design IP from concept to transistor level and deliver GDS with collaterals.
• Supervise Layout Designers during IP GDS creation.
• Run pre-silicon verification to ensure robustness.
• Characterize silicon and debug as needed.
