Athene is seeking a high‑impact VP Sales, Defined Contribution to drive Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income into retirement advisor channels across a broad US territory.

You will leverage established advisor relationships, lead strategic territory planning, and coordinate with recordkeepers and product teams. Expect 70%+ travel and a performance‑driven environment with market-competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in retirement plan sales or equivalent experience.
• Established relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper teams.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to adapt approach as opportunities develop.
• Knowledge of ERISA fundamentals; familiarity with private assets or guaranteed income is a plus.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 or Series 7 required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsabilités

• Drive sales of Apollo DC private assets and Vitera guaranteed income to retirement advisors in the assigned territory.
• Manage territory with 70%+ travel.
• Build relationships with retirement plan advisors and recordkeeper field teams.
• Develop and execute a territory plan with priority advisors and measurable sales outcomes.
• Lead advisor education, field events, and finalist presentations; coordinate with product specialists.
• Collaborate with Apollo’s Global Wealth field counterparts to align coverage and opportunities.
• Coordinate with recordkeeper partners on joint meetings and campaigns.
• Use CRM data and market intelligence to refine targeting and maintain pipeline discipline.
