Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Distribution Center Maintenance Tech III to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain powered equipment, facility and grounds for a safe, productive work environment. The role emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance across conveyors, forklifts, HVAC, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Requires 3+ years in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse setting, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast paced industrial or warehouse environment delivering maintenance service to power equipment (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or on-job training in mechanical, electrical, welding, HVAC controls.
• Trade/technical certifications related to facility maintenance are a plus; MHE certification or specialized training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt professional service to ensure distribution center assets are maintained and a safe working environment.
• Capture all time and parts into the CMMS for inventory and man-hour reporting.
• Deliver preventive and corrective repair service to assets including conveyors, forklifts, power equipment, batteries, dock equipment, racking, lighting and HVAC.
• Observe machine systems for proper and safe operation and communicate issues.
• Perform service measures per vendor procedures, adhering to safety protocols (LOTO, Arc Flash).
• Prioritize duties by impact and business need.
• Share knowledge to develop the team.
• Perform other general maintenance tasks as assigned.
