Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a General Manager II to lead a very large distribution center, overseeing 200-400+ associates and a multi-million dollar budget. You will craft strategies to ensure safe, efficient, on-time product delivery and outstanding customer service for Home Depot Stores and customers.

Accountable for overall DC performance, safety culture, and continuous improvement initiatives, the GM II will lead a cross-functional team and report to the Regional Manager - Distribution.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• 30% Managing all aspects of the DC's financial, operational, people and process and service related objectives to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost-to-serve.
• 20% Evaluates effectiveness of work methods and staffing to ensure efficient movement and processing of product.
• 15% Interacts with business partners to drive results across Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, HR, Asset Protection and Stores.
